The unlimited text/sms services of various Philippine Telecommunications providers have been around for quite some time already. But I rarely use it because their mechanics buffle me, plus the rule about losing your unlimited text subscription if you text to other network providers — Globe Telco, Touch Mobile (TM), Smart, and Talk ‘N Text.
But lately, I learned that texting to ’sister company’ of your network is included in your unlimited or free-text subscription. ‘Sisters company’ are Globe Telco and Touch Mobile, then Smart and Talk ‘N Text. This means if you have an unlimited subscription in your Globe number, you can also text for free to Touch Mobile (TM) numbers and vice versa (if you have unlimited text subscription with your TM number, you can also text for free to Globe numbers). The same applies to Smart and Talk ‘N Text.
